Saturday we visited the 7 puppies of Gigolo & Fiona, born on 6 June.

Dimanche we participated on the Retriever Clubshow of Luxembourg. 75 flats did participate and the judge was
Mr Bellamy David.
Our Iggy was placed 4the excellent in male junior class (out of 11 dogs)
And our Gigo was placed 1st Excellent, CACL and became BIS working dog

Yesterday we participated with Gigo and Iggy on the Championnat de France 2010.(French Championship show)
We are very happy that Mrs Mach Lisbeth from Switzerland gave our 2 liver boys an excellent judgereport and
that our Gigolo won the CACS and CACIB!!
Gigolo left the ring with a new title on his palmares: FRENCH CHAMPION !!!
Iggy was placed 2nd excellent in male junior class.

Today Gigo, Iggy & Stefaanwer at the Dutch Flat-coated Retriever Championship in Almere.
Patrick and Anja were also présent with Pacco, Ulla & Hoops (2 of Gigolo's daughters).
The little Kenzo (the liver son of Gigo & Amis) was going with them because from now on he will live together with
his half brother Djamyro with the De Greeve family in the Netherlands. Djamyro was also participating on the show,
just like Indiana (Gigo's son) & Willow (Pacco's son).
A nice reunion of several "Of The Black Nature" dogs Holland.

Gigo & Iggy didn't disapoint us to today, on the contrary !!!
Again their results on the show were excellent .
Gigo was placed 1st excellent in Working class and was winner of the "Pepper trophy", a beautiful trophy given
the best liver coloured flatcoated retriever.
And our Iggy became 2nd Excellent out of the 17 male junior dogs present, isn't that a splendid result of our
Benjamin !!!
We are still enjoying this wonderful day.

Today we were with our Gigo in The Netherlands on show and Mr Eberhardt from Germany was our judge.
Again Gigo did a splendid job and he was placed 1st in Champian class, he won the CAC, the CACIB and he became Best of breed (BOB) !!!

On the Belgian Flatcoated Retriever Clubshow she was not only placed 1st Excellent in junior class, but she also
became Best Junior !!!

And Gigo won exactly the same as last year on 22 March 2009: CAC, BOB, "Hopkoning" & 3rd place group 8 .

A fabulous Week end with unforgettable showresults !!!!
Gigolo became GERMAN VDH CHAMPION in Dortmund on 7 May and Iggy 2nd Ex JCAC
In St. Gallen in Switserland on 8 and 9 May, our Gigolo won the 2 days the CAC and a res CACIB. His son, our Iggy won 2 days
the CAC junior, became the 2 days Best Junior and won a qualification for Crufts !!!

Because Stefaan has been in hospital, we had to cancel several hunting trainings of Iggy & Gigo, but yesterday
we restarted our lessons with at Hansje Alstedes dogschool.
What a beautiful day.
Father and son worked very well with lots of passion, very nice to see.

Today the first succesful mating took place between Gigo and Fiona des Crocs Mignons, the female of Mrs Anne
Stammen. A second mating will take place Wednesday. (see offspring Gigolo)
We cross our fingers and hope that Fiona can welcome a beautiful and healthy litter in June.

Friday evening Stefaan and Iggy did the test to pass from B to C class in obedience in Nukerke (Hs De Vlaamse
Ardennen). Iggy succeeded with the lovely result of 93/100.
Saterday, Stefaan and Iggy passed the test from A to B in Ardooie (Hs Will To Please) with the result of 46/50.
Soon they will try to pass from B to C in WTP also.
Yesterday we celebrated the 20th Birthday of our eldest son Kjell .

splendid news !!!!Stefaan is back home.
The following weeks he must follow a severe diet and take it easy. All our sheduled practices and games are cancelled
but the Stefaans health is more important now.

Yesterday someone of St-Hubertus came to take a sample of Iggy's DNA.
Soon his DNA profile will be known.

Normaly we had planned a marvellous week end with our Flatcoated retrievers, but sadly all our lovely plans for
this and the next week end fell apart...
Thursday I had to drive Stefaan with urgent to the hospital. Luckily the situation is under controle now, but
Stefaan must stay in hospital for a few more days.

Today it is the 1st birthday of the sons & daughters of our Gigo & Butterfly of The Black Nature !!!!!!

Just home from a marvellous trip to France and Switzerland.
In France we visited the litter of 12 lovely puppies of Beauty & Gigo born in Alsace and in Switzerland we
participated 2 days on the shows in Fribourg.
Both days Gigolo was winner of the CAC res and the judges (Mr F. Johnsson from Sweden and Ms K. Nieminen of
Finland) gave him a very beautiful and excellent judge report
The lovely comments and also the congratulations on Gigolo's very very dark liver colour of some other participants
made us very happy.

Stefaan & Iggy have participated to the test to pass from the A class to the B class in obéissance in dogschool
"De Vlaamse Ardennen" in Nukerke. Iggy was the youngest dog. He succeeded with the best result: 97/100 !

Last Sunday we participated with Gigo & Iggy at the show in Moeskroen.
Gigo won the CAC, CACIB and became Best Male dog. Our Iggy became Best Flatcoated Puppy, very promising !
Hachi (Iachi Of The Black Nature), a liver coloured daughter of our Gigo : 1st Excellent and Best Junior !!
Congratulations Hachi & Line, for this marvellous result !!

Yesterday we participated with our Gigolo at "Paris Dog Show" in France.
Some very good french friends were present and we met other flatcoatlovers.
In this lovely company we passes a marvellous Saterday eating and drinking together on our friendship.
And on top of this all, our Gigo received marvellous results !!!
The Canadian judge, Mr. Lawrence Stanbridge was really impressed about our liver boy and he gave Gigolo the CAC,
CACIB and he became BOB (best of breed).
Not only show but also a lot of pleasure for our flatcoated retrieves. Gigegi and Princess (the female of our dear
friend Stephanie Arquetout) had a marvellous time in the snow

A Saterday we will always remember !

Iggy is 6 months now, so he had to pass from the puppy class to the A-class in obedience.
Today was his first lesson, but the school just organised the test to allow a dog to pass from A to the B-class.
Stefaan decided to pass the test with Iggy to see his level in obedience.
Iggy worked extremely well, he received the excellent result of 99/100 and so he is allowed to pass immediately
from the puppyclass to the B-class !!
He's quite a boy our Iggy !!

Today we received the confirmation of the Société Centrale Canine de France that Gigolo's title " Trialer à la
Française"is accepted .

And yesterday we received a beautiful Christmas Gift: our son Kjell was allowed to leave the universal
clinic in Gent. Splendid news, we can celebrate Christmas all together !!!!
The months that follow will be difficult for Kjell, but all together we'll go for it and we wish Kjell a lot of courage !

Beauty (Beauty de la Source aux Elfes) from kennel "de la Source aux Elfes " in France has given birth yesterday
to 12 lovely puppies. Beauty & Gigo could welcome 5 male & 7 female puppies !!!
Congratulations Laurence & Alain with this beautiful litter & lots of hugs for Beauty !!!

On Saterday he was placed 3rd Excellent (judge Mr. J-L Pigal) and Sunday 2nd Excellent (judge Mr. A. Chalard).

Iggy is 5 months today, time passes quickly !!!

yesterday we had a marvellous day.
We visited Hansje and Oscar, the family of Gigo's daughters Kate (Hekate) and Sisi (Isis Of The Black Nature)
to do a hunting training together.
We had a marvellous time. Hansje trained Sisi, Os trained Kate and Stefaan trained Gigo.
In the morning we had a "dummy" training for Gigo & his 2 daughters. After dinner, Gigo and Kate had a training with
duck, pheasant & partridge.

We also did a few excercices with Iggy. He even took a partridge without any hesitation.

participated in puppy class.

Yesterday we participated on the dogshow in Bleiswijk (Holland).
Gigo was shown in working class and he received excellent comments and was placed 2nd.

Sinds a few weeks, Iggy is following a special basic hunting training obedience training to prepare him for the
start of his real hunting training that will start soon. Stefaan is proud of his new student.

Last week-end was really M A R V E L L O U S !!
Last Week-end, we participated with Gigolo at the Bundessieger (17/10) and at the Nationale show in Dortmund (18/10) .
We took our little Iggy also, to support his dad.
At the Bundessieger the CAC counts double and we were very happy that Gigo, shown by Stefaan, was placed 1st
excellent in the open class and won the CAC VDH (2 points) and the CAC DRC!!!
On sunday we participated at the Nationale Dog Show and again our Gigegi was very successful.
1st place excellent, winner of the CAC VDH, best male and winner of the CAC DRC and Best of Breed (BOB) .
Even in the ring of honneur Gigo was noticed by the judge (Hans Müller) who chose him among the 6 best dogs
of group 8 in his first selection.
3 VDH points on 1 week-end , a marvellous résult !

Today it's the first birthday of Gigo's and Dido Of The Black Nature children !!!!!!
Congratulations to Helios, Héliot, Harras, Happiness, Horatio, Hero & Hekate, Hoops, Hayli

This weekend Stefaan and Gigolo participated for their very first time on a Field Trial in France in St. Benoit en Woevre.
Gigolo did a great job and on the 2 Fields he received a Very Good We can call our Gigolo a Dual Purpose Dog now !!!

On 27 September the puppies of Gigo & Chloë were born!!!!
Yesterday evening 5 liver coloured puppies were born in kennel Of The Black Nature.
3 male and 2 female, mother and puppies were in excellent health !

But... unfortunately something terrible happened today and one of the female puppies died.
The vet came to visit Chloë and her puppies today and everything was fine.
During the few minutes time it took to walk with the veteranary to the door and to return to Chloë, she lay down on
a puppy and the little female had died.

It really, really sad ...

Saterday 12 September we participated with Gigolo on the "Nationale d'élevage", the clubshow of the Retriever Club of
France in Sully-sur-Loire.
10 dogs paticipated in open class and we are very pleased with the lovely rapport of judge Dalton and Gigolo's
2nd place as the second youngest male in open class.
A lot of people noticed our Iggy (who was too young to participate) and we received lovely comments on our Gigolo's son.

Today we participated with our Gigolo on the international dogshow of Luxembourg.
Gigolo was placed 1st excellent, he won the CACL and GIGOLO became "LUXEMBOURGIAN CHAMPION" !!!!!

Totaly unexpected, but very glad and proud, we present to you our newest flatcoated retriever:
INCOGNITO VAN HET BEVERSHOF (called Iggy).
Iggy means "SON OF ", the perfect name for the son of ou Gigegi that lives in our family since yesterday.
Indeed, Iggy is a liver coloured son of our Gigolo & Swallowsflight Jewel Jetblack and was born with his sisters and
brothers on 20 June 2009.

A while ago, we told Anja & Patrick that is was our dream to welcome one day a son of Gigolo. Yesterday this beautiful
dream came true.

Yesterday we received some very sad news...
Keedah isn't pregnant although she had all the signs of a pregnancy.
Our puppy we wanted zo badly, won't come yet...
Last weekend Patrick had a bad feeling and yesterday the veterinary confirmed that she was no longer pregnant.
Unfortunately no puppies for Keedah & Sampo.
Did she loose all her babies when she lost blood a while ago?

Fortunately we also have some good news:
Today a first mating of Gigo en Chloë took place and everything went perfect. The puppies are expected round 29 September !!!

Yesterday evening we visited Murphy and Els & Frederic.
Father and son had a marvellous time together and we enjoyed a good glass (more than one) of Cava.

This month the mating of Chlöe and Gigo will take place.
Saterday afternoon, we have visited the puppies of Anouchka and Gigo, born in kennel "Millerheights".
They have 2 weeks now and are really adorable !!!

Yesterday was the clubshow in Mertert (Luxembourg).

Gigo was the youngest of the 7 males in his class (open class) and we are very proud he became 2nd excellent. The rapport of the judge was splendid and he won the CACL reserve. Gigolo & Patrick in Mertert

Since yesterday Luna is staying with us for a few weeks.
She also came last year and she recognized immediately our Embo, Eltjo and Gigolo. Our 3 boys and Luna are having
a marvellous time together.

Keedah is in excellent condition !!!
She is visibly thicker.
Her belly grows about 1 cm a day.
3 more weeks to go....

Today we received marvellous news !!!

Keedah is pregnant !!! (see puppynews)
4 weeks after the matings in Italie (Patrick inseminated Keedah 3 times with Sampo's semen) we have confirmation: Keedah
and Sampo are pregnant.
We hope for an excellent pregnancy and the birth of several lovely puppies with some beautiful males.

And now the best news:
Anja and Patrick are going to keep a male from this combination, and ....... he will live with us

Saturday 20 June, 7 puppies were born in kennel "Van het Bevershof".
Swallowsflight Jewel Jetblack became the mother of 5 dogs (3 liver & 2 black) and 2 black females.
The puppies and their mother are doing excellent.

Yesterday evening Anouchka also became a mother. We knew she only expected 3 puppies and unfortenately the first male was
already dead at birth. It's a real pity...
Fortunately the other 2 puppies (a male and a female) and their mother Anouchka are in excellent health.

We congratulate Marie-Claire and Gilbert and we wish them good luck with the puppies.
We give a lot of hugs for the 2 mothers Jewel and Anouchka and of course we our very proud of our Gigegi !

Yesterday Gigolo and Stefaan participated on the WT in Anzegem. It was the last Working Test for Gigo and Stefaan this
year. Gigo was placed with a result of 74/100.
Murphy (Happiness) in the company of Els and Frederic came to support for his dad.
It was really very great to see them again.

Today we participated on the Workingtest in initiation class organised for the end of the season in Ardooie.
Gigo became 3rd with a result of 79/100.

We're back home from 2 marvellous days in Paris !
Yesterday we were so glad to see our friend Stephanie, Sissie and Princess again after such a long time: An excellent company, a delicious meal and a beautiful walk: life is fantastic...

And today "Le Championnat de France" in Paris.
Gigo was the youngest male in open class but the judge really loved him and she placed him 2nd excellent.
When the male who won the open class also won the CAC, Gigolo was asked in the ring to compete for the res CAC with the
winners of all the other classes.
And... YES: our Gigegi won the CAC res !
Very happy and with a nice cup we're back home in Belgium.

Last weekend was really F A N T A S T I C !!!!
We were invited with Eltjo and Gigolo at a reunion organised by Os and Hansje (the family where Hekate and Isis, 2 daughters
of our Gigolo live) and we saw some sons and daughters of Gigo back: Hekate, Isis, Helios, Happiness and Harras!!!
All dogs and their families had a marvellous time !!!

Today Love became a mother !!!!! FELICITIONS !!!!
This morning 6 Welsh Springer Spaniels puppies were born, 5 male et 1 female. Love and her puppies are doing excellent !!!

This afternoon, a Progenus DNA test was taken of Eltjo. Gigolo's we did a few months ago.
Tomorrow Eltjo has an obedience competition Program 1 in Poperinge.

Today Gigo has participated for the first time on a dog show in Open Class.
At the VDH Europasieger in Dortmund, Gigolo just 2 years old, was the youngest of the 6 male dogs in open class.
We are very proud that he was placed 2nd Excellent and that he won the CAC res.
At this dog show the CAC counts double and the CAC res counts as a CAC. This means that our Gigegi has won his first point in
Germany

Yesterday Emilie who owns Luna, a golden retriever female who stayed with us during 2,5 weeks in July last year, asked us a

The long weekend of Eastern was really fantastic !!!!! Together with our children and dogs we passed our holidays at the Belgian coast in our caravan in Middelkerke.
During 7 days, we enjoyed the sun, the sea, water and sand. Our 2 flat coated retrievers had a marvellous time in the water.

Our friends Sandy, Kim and Aurélieke we saw on Thursday evening and also on Saterday afternoon and we met their flat Hayko for
the first time.
Gigo and Hayko played together and Gigo even taught Hayko to swim. Congratulations Hayko!

On Eastern Sabine, Luc, Aiko and Bailey payed us a visit. Embo had a crush on Aiko and Gigolo was more interested in Bailey. They enjoyed themselves running around on the sand and in the water. Eltjo preferred staying in the water.
It's a pity we forgot our camera...

Wednesday 13 April Héliot and his family came to visit us. It was really great to see them again. Héliot is really adorable !!!!

During our Holidays we celebrated 2 birthdays. At Eastern (12 April) Boke was 4 years. " BOKE" and 1 day later (13 April) it was my birthday.

The days passed very fast and we before we knew it was time to go home again.

I'm thinking about 5 October 2008...

A marvellous day that we will never forget !!!
On that day Gigo and Dido became for the very first time the parents of a beautiful litter with 9 black and liver puppies.
Now 6 months later Helios, Héliot, Happiness, Harras, Horatio, Hero, Hekate, Hayli and Hoops are doing very well in their new
families.

To all the families of the puppies, I would like to ask a recent picture to put on the puppy page of their darling. The pages with

I'm tired of a very busy "working" week end in France but quicly a few words in the adventures of our dogs.

Yesterday Gigo participated on the "" sélectif B" in Pequencourt in France and he suceeded !!!
Gigo did a marvellous job and we are very proud of him.
Today another day in "la belle et douce France". This time Stefaan and Gigo participated on a workingtest in initiation class with the following result 64/100 NC. Gigo and Stefaan had a beautiful experience and they have learned a lot.
We enjoyed this lovely week end in a beautiful environment in the company of lots of friends.

A FANTASTIC week end !!!!!
Excellent result in Luxembourg while I took care of the litter of Buffy & Gigo. I really love doing it and I do it with a lot of love and a great pleasure !!!

Saturday afternoon Stefaan and I arrived in Diepenbeek. It was the first time we saw the puppies since their birth on 3rd Mars. They are really adorable and very beautiful !!!

On Sunday Anja, Patrick & Stefaan were present at the international dog show in Luxembourg with 6 "Of The Black Nature's" : Money (Harmony Of The Black Nature), Amis (Bez Amis First Lady) , Mellow (Flatcastle's Take it Easy) Deejay (Beauty Nights Name Part), Pacco (Exployer Of The Black Nature) and our own Gigo (Gigolo van de Demerbron).
All of the 6 dogs received an excellent result and Money became "Luxembourgian Junior Champion " and Mellow and Gigo won the CAC !!!!

In the evening we celebrated this beautiful result with an excellent glass of Champagne !!

Yesterday we participated in intermediate class with Gigolo at the international dog show of Wieze.
Gigo won from the male champion the CAC and so he is "Hopkoning".
He also won from the best bitch wich made him the best of breed.
And in the ring of honnor of group 8, the judge Mr O' Brian V. selected Gigo and finally he became the 3rd best in group 8

Kate (Hekate), Gigo's daughter was also in Wieze with Hansje. She was 1st very promising in baby class and best flatcoated baby. Congratualations Kate !!!

Is was a very beautiful week end for us !!

Sunday after the huntingtraining in Will To Please we went to Hellevoetsluis in Holland to visit the new family of
"Hekate". Oscar and Hansje had invited us for an afternoon of "FUN" followed by a dinner in a restaurant.
Hansje has taken a lot of pictures of the excercises in the water!

The puppies are 8 days now and they grow very good. They all have doubled their weight of birth.

Today we saw a lovely exemple showing us what good friends are 3 dogs are.
Eltjo et Gigolo sleeping together and giving each other kisses, nice isn't it?

A little patience please, but it won't take long anymore before we can present you the puppies....

Yesterday we got a little visit from Hekate (Kate):
Oscar and Hansje who live in the Netherlands were yesterday in the neighbourhood and of course we invited them.
It was very nice to see them again together with Kate.
First she was timid (not surprising because Eltjo, Gigo & Boke greeted her with a lot of enthusiasm.), but very soon she felt at home and it was really lovely to see her play together with daddy Gigo.

The birth of Buffy's litter is really approaching now ! Only a few days left...
Today Anja & Patrick did all the preparations so that Buffy will feel comfortable on her big day.
Exciting isn't it?

11/02/1993: what a beautiful day !!!!
At 10h12 am our son Jens was born and 3 minutes later we could welcome Niels !
Indeed, today is exactly 16 years ago that our twins were born and that Kjell got 2 little brothers at the same time.

CONGRATULATIONS JENS & NIELS with your 16th birthday !!!!!!

Very good news !!!!
We begin to see that Buffy is pregnant !
Thus, if everything goes very well, within 4 weeks Gigolo will be father for the second time.

Tomorrow is a very important day for Stefaan and Gigo!
In the morning the hunting selection tests take place.
Gigo and Stefaan have to succeed this test to pass from the beginners class to the second group, the initiation class.
We hope that Gigo does his very best and that he will succeed.
Do you all cross your fingers with us ???

Eva and Patrick, the new family of Harras, have sent us some lovely pictures and a nice compliment: a few weeks ago, the say Gigolo for the first time and they find him a very beautiful dog ! They hope that Harras will be like his dad.

Today we saw Murphy (Happiness) back!!!!
It was really very nice for us to see Els, Frederic and litle Murphy again !!!
Murphy is a very kind, affectionate, enthusiastic puppy. He has grown a lot and is really beautiful.
Murphy has followed for the first time the puppytraining in dog school De Wijze Hond Anzegem.
Of course we were present with daddy Gigolo to take some pictures of this first lesson. Meanwhile, Stefaan and Eltjo trained program 1.

Saterday 11 January we'll Murphy, great isn't it ?
Els and Frederic have the intention to follow obédience lessons in "HS De Wijze Hond Anzegem" where Stefaan is instructor.
We are very happy that we will ofthen see Gigolo's son. Saterday we'll take some pictures of father and son.

The second mail was sent by our dear friend Stéphanie from France.
They have 15 cm of snow over there and Stéphanie has sent us 2 lovely pictures of Sissie, Gigolo's lovely french girlfriend.
I know that some of you wonder how Sissie is doing lately.
